The decor might lean on the side of caution now, but the core essence remains untouched - luckily for us. Their extensive drink list may suggest otherwise, but don't try to ask for anything beyond wine, port or sherry (they stick strictly to these). This is the perfect spot to confess ignorance about wines - the bar staff have made it their business to be versed for you.
